Mini Fete 2019

Mini Fete 2019

YEAR 6 FUNDRAISER

Our year five and six students did a fantastic job of organizing the mini fete last Friday. In groups, the students prepared a business plan which included budgeting, marketing, resource development and then running the actual stall. The students raised $3,300 to cover the costs of their graduation and to purchase something for the school as part of their legacy to the community. We were very impressed with the quality of the ideas and the effort the students put into their stalls. Thank you to everyone who supported the mini fete.

Visit From The Administrator

ON WORLD TEACHERS' DAY

Her Honour the Honourable Vicki O’Halloran AO, Administrator of the Northern Territory attended our school assembly and toured our school on Friday the 25th of October. It was great to see all students with such wonderful audience manners at our assembly. The Administrator was very impressed with our school and loved visiting all of the staff and students at Girraween.

World Teachers’ Day gives us the opportunity to thank all of our teachers who work hard to makes sure our children are learning and developing the skills they will need for the future. We have an amazing team who continuously strive for improvement and this is reflective across all classrooms. Of course our teachers are ably supported by classroom support and administration staff and we thank them also.
