Girraween Primary students have many opportunities to explore their world as they develop skills and attitudes that enable them to interact with different curriculum demands. We are a community of readers; our library is an engaging place full of the magic of story for all to enjoy. Our school farm and the focus on sustainability are practical ways for students to see themselves as ‘global learners’ whose actions matter. Students can express their creativity through the performing and visual arts and there are many whole school and community events which give them a chance to demonstrate their skills to an audience. Our students are active and engage in physical education, outdoor programs and games daily. Students have the chance to extend their learning with technology and by participating in competitions within and beyond the school. We believe that it takes a community to raise a child and value close relationships with parents in the education of their children. We rise to the challenge of educating today’s children for tomorrow.
